India is still in the old era of using under-ground storm water drain. However, due to immense technical issues related performance, maintenance and service life of this orthodox system, we have to switched over to surface drain concept this days. However, to execute cast-in-situ RCC surface storm water drain in perfect line and level is a tedious and time consuming job.
Precast U-Shape Storm Water Drain
Precast ‘U-shape’ storm water drain is the solution for faster and smarter
way of providing effective and efficient storm water surface drain.
When road is going in the gradient, our U shape drain can be laid in the
same gradient. Even when road is kept at same level, water normally flows
through its own hydraulic
gradient. You may provide nominal slope of about 1:1000 inside the drain
with PCC.
Precast concrete U drains allow for speedier construction of channels with
minimum wet cast concrete work. These drains range in widths from 200mm to
855mm. They are
produced in strict factory controlled conditions that ensure high quality.
Besides storm water drainage, these types of drains are also used to house
underground cables and waterlines in industrial setup.
U-Shape Drain (T-25)
Precast Drop Lid U Shape is design as per (T-25). DU series is a longitudinal drain and it is intended to be used at the shoulder of the road.

Load Information
Load applies to longitudinal drains.
Longitudinal drains are designed based on the assumption that large trucks
do not
usually run over them. Trucks run over the drains for temporary only when
they
run the road.
